Muster

In an emergency a muster point exists to create a known place for folks to gather.
This creates direction to act when uncontrollable variables are at their highest.
You may not have certainty around when everyone will muster, but you have clarity around the what, where, and how.

One of the challenges of leading in a volatile and hybrid world is the muster points do not get defined.
What muster points does your team have that serve to bring clarity when things feel chaotic?
Like a lighthouse in a storm, simply knowing the muster point exists in the future can aid your team in remaining present in the moment.

Many teams take a counterproductive approach and cancel muster points when things get busy.
The decision made is to serve short-term productivity at the cost of longer-term clarity.
What does your team need more: an extra hour to solve problems or protected space to step outside the chaos?
