Becoming
You, your team, and everyone around you are in a constant state of becoming.
While you are hyper-aware of the nuance within your own state of becoming, attending to the same level for those around you is impossible.
The complexity of each individual state of becoming and the unseen changes and reciprocal dynamics is unfathomable.
Yet as a leader you have a responsibility in cultivating this endless ecosystem of becoming.
You cannot control the nuanced specifics for each individual.
You can, however, attend to what contribution you are making in someone else’s journey of becoming.
The greatest feedback a leader can receive is that they were integral to someone becoming a version of themselves at which they arrived.
They may not remember what you did or how you contributed; they will remember the perception that you were a catalyst in the journey of becoming.
