Sand Dunes
Day to day, a sand dune looks the same.
Even week to week, the change is imperceptible.
The eye is incapable of noticing how individual sand pieces change location.
This does not mean the sand dune is not moving.
The minute changes of millions of sand particles cannot easily be captured.
Over time, these changes accumulate to an entire dune shifting.
Your growth is the same.
If you evaluate your growth daily, you will be disappointed.
If you only see your growth as the dune, you will miss the tremendous shifts of individual sand.
Growth is a balance.
It is a balance between noticing the sand while observing the dune over time.
